Freddie B, professionally known as Jamezz Bonn, is a highly respected music producer and audio engineer from Atlanta, Georgia. Emerging in 1996 as one of the pioneering architects of the Crunk sound, Freddie quickly built a reputation for crafting innovative, hard-hitting productions that helped shape Atlanta’s independent music scene and influence hip-hop globally.
His early contributions include groundbreaking tracks such as “ATL Hoe,” “Eastside versus Westside,” and Intoxicated’s “Walk It Talk It”—a record that would later be reimagined into the chart-topping hit by Migos and Drake. Freddie’s distinctive sound design also reached the big screen, with placements in films like Ice Cube’s The Players Club through Loko the Lunatic’s “Dirty South.”
Over the years, Freddie has seamlessly expanded his role in the industry, evolving from producer to one of Atlanta’s most sought-after engineers. His engineering and mixing expertise have crossed borders, with projects for both emerging talent and major-label artists worldwide. Randell Colvin is a visionary record label owner who founded Thunder Roar Records in honor of his late grandmother, a true matriarch and his personal muse. Born and raised in the heart of a musical family, Randell grew up amidst his family’s pulsating rhythms and soulful harmonies, which became an integral part of his identity.
Under Randell’s leadership, Thunder Roar Records has evolved into more than just a music label. It is a haven for raw talent, a platform for voices that echo his grandmother’s spirit, and a beacon of authenticity and originality in the ever-evolving music industry.
